New-ish to area.

Fairly new to the area (not far from MK) may try and make some meets...
I'm not a Fast and Furious or Top Gear kind of person, I'm bit of a bore for detail.
I'm not sure if that's why I trained as an engineer and got involved with motorsport.
I've always loved cars and bikes but I think I was a bit naive until I got involved with racing.
I've built and rebuilt a few cars and bikes but as I get older I prefer do less tinkering.
I still enjoy the performance and character of vehicles, I probably prefer older cars or super cars.
I currently drive something commercial on the road which is practical but if I reduce the race involvement I might get something different for road use, maybe an Audi R8 of Ultima perhaps. Although one side of me thinks, that's a lot of car and running costs just for road use (boring yes) then I'm back into thinking about racing - not sure I'd be happy just doing track days.
That's me I guess.
