Yes, this is England ... two days of sun followed by six months of rain! I'll be there unless it's absolutely pouring down, the car needs a clean anyway. May drive out to Olney (near Milton Keynes) for the Motorama afterwards if anyone fancies coming with me?

forecast is showing showers in the icon, but looking at the 'detail' it's saying 15% chance and 0.1mm of rain, so probably just feel damp rather than pouring

You see, I'll have jinxed it now

I think having broken your 5 is jinxed enough!!

(PS - About that Supercharger...)

I'm looking at selling the whole lot as am kit, minus the ECU as I may use that with the 1UZ.

That would be:
Supercharger
bypass valve
custom throttle cable
modified and improved manifold between the throttle and supercharger
Modified TR Lane brackets so they actually fit
Modified tensioner/idler pulleys mounts so they actually sit straight
6-rib overlay on the crank pulley with 36tooth trigger wheel
crank sensor and bracket
Way motor Works 17% reduction pulley on the supercharger
6-rib pulley on the power steering pump
Intercooler plus mounting brackets
Extended rad brackets (to push the rad back so the intercooler can sit in front)
all hoses
MAP sensor
analogue boost gauge
hoses
mushroom air-filter
bypass valve and pipe
manifold adapter (for the pipe going into the stock manifold : nicer than a 'dummy' or modded throttle)
RX8 denso yellow injectors

and I think that's all you'd need, bar the ECU, not to mention you know it'll just fit straight on as all the fiddling has been done

What have you broken on it now biggrin am I going to have to prove that not all TVRs are unreliable? Haha
Apart from the unreliability, mine has been completely reliable! Never had to get a jump start from a St Neots meet yet wink

I've lost a thread on a spark plug hole. Not sure if there is enough metal left to get a new thread started. May be looking at heads off.

Thought that might crop up haha! Loose battery terminals, fault of the owner not the car biggrin
That is a complete arse, I wouldn't fancy helicoiling any of those either, even a front one. If it makes you feel better I shattered two 5/8 sockets trying to get my heads off, they were unbelievably tight

I'm looking on the bright side as it was allegedly going to rain today, and didn't!

Not a bad turnout today but not as good as previous weeks

I can only assume the weather put folk off, and it did start to rain later in the morning

Good to meet all of you this morning, glad it stayed dry for us. Nice mix of vehicles and friendly folk. Will definitely attend again in future.

Cheers
