Yeah I'm not really complaining. I enjoyed it and will continue to go to it. smile

Think this was my 16th or 17th year attending the show.

I can see quite a lot of emotion sparked here in this small thread, so here is my view

I live in the town and have done for well over 20 years when many of the cars now seen there were brand new, the event has become very popular and raises money for charity and only asks for donations for spectators, perhaps it should charge, car entries though have a small charge to pay by requesting tickets in advance and the committee decide who goes on. Events for good causes always need support so I imagine they have some flexibility on their criteria, I don't know as I am not involved. I have also been turned down twice for wanting to take a 911 on there, even though they were rare models, for example. Fair enough its up to the committee.

Ferrari club have been allowed on in mass due to past positive visitor feedback about seeing the make, for many its a dream car and the public like to see them, old or new. In fact I have taken mine a few times.

This year I took the Aventador in bright green with an entry ticket which was for a 458 Ferrari but that was still in the dealership and last minute I had to decide to attend or not, so I attended and the amount of positive feedback to this was amazing, from small children to retired adults, male and female, prob a hundred plus people stayed around or spoke to me direct, many had the chance to sit in it or take special pictures. There was noting but positive reaction.

I do agree its an event for all so mixing cars up is positive, its not a one brand event and all drivers should be polite enough to respect that view. Its also an event for all ages and all walks of life so tolerance is needed for things like this to be successful.

I always love walking up and down each aisle to see what is there, remind myself of past cars I may have had or wanted and enjoy the social part of the afternoon/evening by chatting to owners. It might not be for everyone but I like the mix of old and a splattering of supercars.

Complaints should be directed to the organisers rather than on forums like this and maybe Ferrari and anything new gets banned then but lets enable it to carry on, be tolerant, its great for the town, so it would be a shame if it was just classics in the sense of anything over 20 years.
