SV Performance - High Wycombe

Firstly, I'm not looking for any naming & shaming type of thing but I'm a little suspicious of some contact I've had regarding a car I have for sale in the PH Classifieds.

I have been contacted by someone who appears to be from 'SV Performance' in High Wycombe.

A quick Google search shows that this is a one man car sales company with no current stock.

He has made me a good offer on the car without even showing any intertest in coming to look at it, which has got my spidey senses on full alert!


All I want to know is, has anyone here had any dealings with this chap, is he a real car trader?

Companies House shows the company registered to a house in Totteridge Road - that's not too far away from me and there's certainly no car dealerships on that road that I'm aware of.

He may well be fully legit, just buying and selling the odd car from his home address - but the fact that he's not interested in looking at the car is very strange.

That is true, a good friend of mine does it in his spare time, all legal and above board. But he does at least go and look at the cars before he buys them!
