Weather looks pretty questionable for the morning. Probably wont risk it, although I'll reassess in the morning. Had a good day today driving and spannering.

I dunno about that - the Met Office have removed all the nasty rain symbols until 1pm. Tis getting better methinks.

Special day for me tomoz too - I'll have had the VXR8 for a whole yearwoohoo
It's done about 23K miles and drank £8072.78 worth of V-Power Nitro in that timeyikes
It's suprisingly thirsty at, er, 70mphhehe
Loved every minute so here's to the second year beer

Probably would come along if I had an interesting tin top... but risking filling the tin bath doesn't sound too appealing...

Turns out I was telling lies. Was a bit soggy.

Surprisingly good turn out despite that though

We decided to pop over, despite the weather.

Sadly didn't get to chat to anyone as I was entertaining my son who was more interested in
a) the ducks
b) the playground
c) the grassy knoll

But I did get to see some of the cars. Nice couple of Nobles and several GTRs
(Do any of the GTRs go to a meet at Lounge India in Marston Moretaine? I saw several parked outside there a few weeks ago)

To the group who arrived in the Rover 200 something, perhaps have a quick look around you before you start swearing loudly and repetitively about your hangovers or being woken from your slumbers eh? smile
My son doesn't say fk yet and I'd like to keep it that way for a bit if possible.

Certainly a nice enough venue for future trips / meets, although I may have to educate the cafe on what a double espresso is. It's not half a cup of black coffee biggrin

Yes, Alas Ambleton the rainy icons reappeared. For once it was actually brighter in Welwyn when I set off.
Oh well, still a very good turnout despite the precipitation. Was nice to see the Noble duo and the regular faces.

Catch you all next month driving
