I've been looking at the BBC forecast which is actually mostly wrong most of the time so it might not be that bad.

Is anyone in Harpenden right now and able to comment on the weather? It's not going to prevent me from going along but would be nice to know what to expect.

We live in Harpenden. Just texted the wife who reports that the morning drizzle has given way to some sun - i..e it doesn;t sound like it is chucjing it down. Let me know if you need a more uptodate report....

I'm a few hundred yards away from the Common and there's a lot of very moody looking grey cloud. It is probably going to belt it down.

I'll dock the wife her pocket money for mis-information, then. smile

I want to buy the old Monaro GTS. It's just lovely.

The rain kept people, and cars, away.

So disappointing!! I hate this bloody country sometimes.

Nice to see a Ferrari F40 though. And the Lancia Stratos!

Also, pretty sure there was a Zagato type Aston at the far end....lick

Well it rained, a lot! Even without the rain I think it would have been down on next year. Wish you could buy tickets on the gate too, I forget every year!

The missus and I went along - there was a fair amount of rain but it wasn't too bad. The cars more than made up for it anyway.

Loved the integrales, particularly the 16v. Hats off to the owner of the F40.

83VET - I hung around your car for a bit in order to say hello, but didn't see you. Hope you enjoyed the event.

My Zagato ! got pretty close to boiling over coming in, now that would have been embarrassing !( the stock Aston water pumps just don't flow at tickover and if you're in slow traffic for more than 20 mins.....)
Thanks for all the nice comments and look forward to next year.
WILL BE AT CROXLEY GREEN SHOW WED EVENING 5th AUG
