You really should'nt worry about it, ive been on plenty of runs and people are really just there for a spirited drive, nobody will be driving anywhere near 10/10ths.

You'll be fine mate.. i did a ph run in my battle scarred dirty french slut (diesel 306) back in october as my RS wasnt back from the garage in time.

Was obviously really down on power compared to your car.. But I actually really enjoyed it as had to drive it at 10/10ths !!

Id like to reccomend the bypass between linslade and the little chef roundabout on the A5 as rather fun road to explore

Watch out for that, very popular place for police speed traps. All times of day and all days of the week. Unmarked run up and down it regularly too.

Watch out for that, very popular place for police speed traps. All times of day and all days of the week. Unmarked run up and down it regularly too.

There's a well known hooning road in that area that also happens to be used by the local constabulary for their driver training and refresher sessions apparently.

Personally I'd rather save the enthusiastic driving for the B-roads and keep things sensible on the main roads - it's too easy to get yourself into hot water and ultimately not that fun going quickly on wide straight roads. You can have great fun on some of the twisty country roads while staying more or less within the spirit of the law.

I doubt a Clio V6 is scary enough for you Blib. We know from Top Gear that not even The Stig can tame a Hawk Stratos.

I may have to drool at both - although I'm not brave enough to buy one I would rather like a Clio V6...
