Best Bucks Roads

Been for a nice blast and found a wonderful road I can't belive I've missed before, Missenden Road, Butlers Cross through Rignall Road, Great Missenden. Very nice fast bends, smooth surface, good medium range visibility. I did not realise either that it passes by Chequers - next time I'll take a slight detour to take it in.
Not what I drove today, but a nice route for a quick 1hr blast taking in this road. The drive into and out of Great Missenden on this route was great.

Head out of Aylesbury on the A41 toward Bicester........and turn left. Doesn't really matter when, but just make sure the signs indicate you are heading toward Cuddington, Long Crendon, Brill, Oakley, Thame and the like. The roads are bumpy but some of the views are fantastic and the gradient changes, corners, bridges and cambers make for a really fun drive.
And although it's more and Oxfordshire road it's not that far away, the B4009 from Watlington to Newbury is awesome. A great mix of fast sweeping roads and tight technical stuff.
