I currently store my mx5 track car at my dads place, but it's looking like he is moving soon and i'll need somewhere else to keep it!

I've found a storage place that is walking distance from my flat, that will be able to store it indoors for £20pw, which doesn't sound too bad, but I was hoping for somewhere a bit cheaper smile
Don't suppose anybody knows anyone with a garage, or has any other options?

VERY hard to get. Iv just got mine an my mates project in a unit through a friend of a friend.

Best bet is flyer your estate or ask to go on the council list for one o their garages, £46 a month and rising!

Blimey, didn't realise the council garages were so expensive these days!
Maybe my £20pw deal isn't so bad after all.

Oh, and don't suppose you have space for a little MX5 in your unit too biggrin

Yep. Just gave them their key back, £50 a month for a tiny garage that's not looked after and I can't work in? Jog on!

I flyered 15 farms around me asking for anything to keep cars in, nothing.

I won't tell you what I'm paying but it's bloody cheap for 3x cars in a unit.

I have an idea - it won't be perfect but it should be cheap!

Basically my neighbour has a garage in the block that they don't use (it doesn't have a handle on the door) but I think the garage door still goes up and over. In fact I normally park one of the cars in front of it.

Might be able to ask if they'd be willing to rent it out?

It's an idea, can you find out how much they would want if they do want to rent it out?

Currently i'm going to drop it at my sisters place over Bedford way, as that is free biggrin

The MK Council ones are not generally in great areas nor very secure. Speaking as someone that used to manage some them.
