The artists have put up a couple of new pieces on the wall opposite the Alice in wonderland piece (Which is still there and still looking good) over this past week, looks like more colourful, psychedelic designs again which i imagine would contrast very nicely with a decent car...

Bump for this thread, they've redesigned the entire right hand side wall over the weekend. Artwork looks fantastic! More heavy urban themes complete with a very eyectaching surfing silver dude on the far side!
I'm up for snapping some cars there as ever if anyone fancies it still smile

When's the best time to go for the light, early morning or later afternoon towards sunset? Or doesn't it really matter?

It's a tunnel that faces East to West so depends what lighting you want really. Morning you'll have it come in one end, mid-day it'll be over the top so no direct light and evening it'll come in the other side.

Cool, no obstructions at either end then? Meaning the light is better from one side?

Edit: Just had a look on streetview, doesn't look like it so i'll probably go up Saturday evening if anyone else is about?

A few pics taken today. Bumped into Mr Forthright under the bridge, who immediately recognised the car as BlueThunder's old wheels, and will hopefully have some more photos later... cool Good to meet you Sir!

Likewise sir! Some nice snaps there already. Heres a few of my efforts, what a perfect car to snap down there, all the colours complemented each other superbly! -

And when you originally passed me on the Bushmead Rd bridge! -

biggrin

I'll get a few more of mine on here a little bit later. Thumbsnap is being a bit temperamental here...

I may be around Monday / Tuesday. I'll try to give notice if I'm going to be there but won't be able to hang around for long.

Thinking back, I was vaguely aware of someone snapping me as I drove past!

Your photos seem to bring out the colours much better than mine - what's the knack??

biggrin Do very much enjoy walking round the local countryside at this time of the year, but car/lorry spotting from the bridge can be quite compelling also!

As for the pics, with a really colourful subject i like to increase the colour temperature and saturation a tad. Works well with a good contrast level and a bit of sharpening i find smile

You really could have hours of fun with some of these editing tools/packages that are available it must be said! The shadow adjustment tool is a good'un too! (Works well with contrast again. the options for heavy editing and subtle fine tuning are limitless! biggrin )
