Thank you all for the kind words. I won't push it, their loss as far as I'm concerned.
I'm a bit upset for my Pal, who was all excited about it. He's been going through some hard stuff lately, and he was getting his Mojo back.
I also thought the remark about the RAFYC accepting us was a bit condescending.
I'll get over in October, and we'll have a good bash around. I hope I bump into this Jonty fellow, so I can look him in the eye, and tell straight out to his face, that I think he's a pompous prick. At least we're always made welcome at RAFYC, and it's a decent pint. Actually that's where she's berthed. smile

I used to like popping into the Victory for a swift few, but my Mate's moved out of the village now, and back to Netley, so it's the Consort now.
