I'm a powerboat broker and specialise in this sort of boat, as well as RIBs.
I sold an Explorer Elite at the end of last summer. Spec was...
2003 Explorer Elite 165
2003 Mercury 50hp 2 stroke oil injected
Trailer
Radar arch
Same seat, but just the one, not a pair
Antifouled
One owner, low hours, good condition
£7,950.00
So I would say yours is priced well. I expect it's just because it's not very accessible for the average Solent fisherman to quickly go over and view. The other thing to bear in mind is the cost of new engines. The increase in new prices has meant there's a shortage of good used outboards out there. The only used engines we're getting in stock are high hours ex commercial engines. That isn't going to help you so much.
Maybe you could try speaking to Explorer boats direct to see if they can find a buyer.

agree spain is a long way to go and view but a return flight has never cost me more than £200,almost cheaper to view here than a bit of squirt or train fare in the uk,plus the sun and a nice coffee.it is new with a warranty aswell.sold a car once to a guy who did a day trip to view who then said it wasn't necessary really as he bought loads of cars/bikes off e-bay sight unseen. spaniards dont buy anything anymore tbh!just thought the price might encourage somone.
