Why does the article claim that it is 'Dyna Rig'?

I always thought a Dyna-Rig was a squarerigger like the Maltese Falcon. Maybe he just means its has in-mast furling.

I think the fact it is Dyna rig is irrelivent. Isn't Dyna a trade name for a type of very strong material for rope. Usually used for halyards on race boats. I bet it was fluff in a dryer outlet?

I've heard the fire started in one of the cabin deckheads. Maybe a light or a transformer.

Saw her when she was moored in Dartmouth last year. Beautiful looking yacht. Hope that the damage isn't to bad & hope the yacht can be restored to her former glory.
