I still stand by what I have said regarding getting from the entrance of the 02 to the Excel entrance- the cable car is faster.

Anyway, I'm off to London, to ride the cable car.

And in my post previous to that, I said aside from the novelty factor I don't see much use for it. The number of journeys as you describe between the front doors of the 2 venues will be bugger all in the grand scheme of it, so matters not if that specific journey is quicker (which I still don't think it is btw!!). Thankfully almost all the funding for it has been stumped up by Emirates.

Its deff still a fun thing to do to make "a day" of being in the area or such like, so enjoy, the views are pretty good....but look out and not down or there's some pretty scabby recycling,/rubbish processing plants under the "flight path"!
