To be honest though,that's enough information to determine that it wasn't a Lancaster and was, in all likelihood, a Hercules (or a C17).

Easy; one is a pair of shoes (I photograph weddings so can be worryingly well-informed on fashion!) and the other is a Rotte of gliders
