Looks like its made of papier-mâché over a wooden frame.
Almost as problematic is the canopy being made of what looks like privacy glass. hehe

Highly likely, check the interior surface out:

Fiberglass maybe?

That is a joke right??
Well if it does fly it looks like the pilot has 2 old Clarion car stereos to play with, some blank screens, a joystick compatible with a Commodore 64 stuck on some scaffold bar and an old dome CCTV camera masquerading as a weapons radar.

When I see three squadrons of them manned by crack pilots I'll be concerned. Not until.

Has any country from that region (Israel excluded) ever had an effective airforce - ie one that can do more than drop gas on peasants?

So am I right in thinking the best actual fighter Iran has is the F-14?
If any are still airworthy?
Airworthy is probably stretching it a little.

It's quite funny how when back at school the rich or spoilt kid would arrive on the playground with the latest gadget, then some runt would arrive the next week with a cheaply knock off, teying pass it off as the real thing.

America brings the Raptor.

Iran brings... Something, I don't know what.

Anyways, after reading this I'm thinking of mounting an invasion of Iran. I'll be armed with a couple of these:

It's on.

Lets face it, if this really was a new and cutting edge design, surely the budget would exist to fit it with a CD player head unit and not just the old cassette deck that seems to be fitted to the instrument pannel.......... ;-)

it's got to be said also that the airframe looks highly suspect from both an area rule and CoL/CoG stanpoint, sure, most modern designs are deliberatly unstable in a few axis, but generally not to the point where the main U/C wheels would leave the ground on takeoff before the nose gear laugh

Apart from that fairly essential "ability to fly" feature...

Hopefully a higher resolution picture to laugh at analyse. It would appear that quite a lot of fibreglass went into building that, it also seems that there is no room for the pilot's legs!

It was decided that it would be unveiled in a local gymnasium as they were concerned about the plane getting prematurely airborne, as it was forecast to be a bit breezy that day.

Are ejector seats normally bolted to a fibreglass bulkhead?

Reckon they'll sell me it as part of an elaborate X-Plane setup?

I'll keep checking EBay.

Bloody hell I missed the cutting edge bit, there is a Garmin Nuvi 265W(with traffic) on the far right. This guy will not get lost and can avoid most hold ups on main roads at least.
