Tell me about it! Just this morning i agreed to attending my baseball teams late season game on Sunday. Realistically for me its an 8 hour round trip, and I'm skint.

Cool, will try and get there if the weather is ok, but im guessing parking will be a royal pain in the bum it was for the last fly over.

Climbing the hills to be above the dam and the planes has a lot to be said for it, particularly if you are into photography but it's not a small stroll!

Just got the plans changed. Derwent is where I'll be on Sunday, hang the cost!

I did the 70th flight last year and thorough enjoyed the climb up the valley side to find a spot. Take sturdy boots for comfort though.

Same here. Pike Low is the place to be; no idea where to park though, you won't get near the public car parks.

I've seen a mention that some fields are being opened up for use as parking.

Having seen the draw both Lancasters have been this year, that is a good idea if happening. The parking for the 70th flypast was "any road you can". Am hoping the weather holds for this

I going to park on Strines road and walk the 4 miles or so cross country. It'll be a nice afternoon.

ETA: Weather forecast is great for Sunday so far, according to MWIS.

He isn't, only us. Am planning to be there at the rise of a sparrows fart. Have a walk through the area and settle in with camera for about 3.

Gutted to have to miss this, the one place to see them best happens to be almost inaccessible by public transport! Southport tomorrow though, hopefully get decent pictures there.
