Would love to see this. Any ideas if it will be flying near Yorkshire?
I've heard (read on here?) That it'll be based at Donny airport so there should be a few opportunities to see it fly.
Love to see them both fly over Derwent. Anyone in the know able to give us a heads up if and when it's planned?

Went to the dams today for a bike ride - no mention of a flypast anywhere so far, at least not that I could see.

I think is all purely speculation about the dams. And remembering that it will likely be a very fluid flying programme up until the aircraft is on UK shores.

If it's based at Doncaster, there's surely going to be an opportunity to do a flypast at least during a transit flight? After all it's only 15 about minutes away if that.

Then your best bet is to sleep rough at the dams for the 5/6 weeks the lanc is in the UK and hope you get lucky.

Add to that the unconfirmed Duxford days - I'm off to book my Duxford hospitality tickets for the sunday (mother now likes the idea of a seat and tea/coffee to hand)

That will be excellent given that Goodwood usually manage to get several Spitfires and Hurricanes as well.

A film crew are following it on its transit from canada, so you would hope they also follow its journey around the UK including its servicing prior to displaying over here.

A pity that it seems to be spending the vast majority of its time in the south of England

Yes, but that is where the airshows and events are that fit her visit.

As above that's where the most of the shows are. Although there should be a display within 2 hours of most people.

Oh hell, I just cannot get there.

I really hope that speculators do not get involved with any purchases and no tickets end up on the usual suspects for silly money.

Got mine too! I think I'm looking forward to this more than being at all the days of Le Tour UK
