Canadian Lancaster to visit the UK

Same here - incredible sight. Made the hour and a half of traffic from Gt Gransden to the airfield all worth it!
Glad we didn't queue for that long.I wasn't expecting almost non-stop sky action once the show started.
On the ground I wish there more more toilets and space. Couldn't swing a cat.
I would go again (but probably in the VIP section).
Shame my toddler wasn't interested in the Lancs. Lots of people left after that display.

Saw them at Wings and Wheels at Dunsfold today. What a fantastic sight and sound. Apparently the show's never sold out before, but by mid morning it was full and there was a 9 mile queue of people still trying to get in, most of which they're attributing to the presence of the Lancs. The Canadians had a merchandise stand there was doing roaring trade all day too.

Circa 8900 people today. A few thousand more than ever before I believe.
We didn't really move once plotted up. I almost cried when I realised I've become 'one of those'. With a camping chair & a thermos...!
My boys were only mildly interested in the Lancasters last week, again this, but bloody hell The Vulcan really shock their souls! They loved it!!
Great day, fantastic displaying. In tears at the Lancssters again, as well as the Mustang, Vulcan and the bloody FX Glider display to Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Every time he makes me weep.
And 27 year old Lauren Richardson doing aeros in her Pitts Special. Wow! Just fearless. Spectacularly superb.
Sadly, I don't think I am going to get to see both Lancaster together - for various reasons.
I noticed in some of the video clips that with the two aircraft flying together, you get a "throb, throb, throb" as the two sets of engines are not synchronised - giving a resonance effect.
Imagine what hundreds of these all flying together must have sounded like.

They were both relatively close to you at the weekend Eric. There's also this Saturday and Sunday at bournemouth and shoreham and clearly they'll need to route down past you to get there. Hopefully you'll be able to see it. It's a site not to miss
