Discussion
Updated planned airshow arrivals/ validations for you-
All of these are of course subject to change, particularly the F.35s which, even if they do make it to the UK, are unlikely to stick to their planned validation days/times....
Mon 7th -
2 x F.18 arrival
DC-10 arrival
Aerostars validation about 2.30 local
2xF.35 validation PLANNED for Monday pm, but of course this is becoming less likely by the day.
Canberra validation
Anson validation
Great War Display Team validation
Spitfire validation
Tue 8th
2 F.35 validations PLANNED in the morning
Starduster validation
2 F.35 validations PLANNED in the afternoon
Typhoon validation
Wed 9th

Really... to the UK, or just testing in the US prior to a decision?
To us at Farnborough, I didn't look to check the origin of the flight before I left though, Doh. I was expecting the f-18s to come direct from the US however, and they came in from Belgium, so it may already be in Europe somewhere!

As you can see, no f-35 inbound today.....
Not surprising given they are still sat on the ground at PAX.The situation as of last night USA time....

I can't see it happening now to be honest unless they leave today USA time at the latest, or as they say, unless the 2 day turn-around is waived. But they'd still need to be given the go decision today USA time for that to happen.
