A380 validated and off to midhurst, not sure if he is coming back until next week now.

Hornet lining up for takeoff
The tower said "See you next week" - so I assume it is back to Toulouse.

I'm looking forward to going, and I'm thinking of booking a ticket for the grandstand area. Does anyone know how the view compares to the public viewing area along the flightline?

Yeah that's whit i heard, and given the nightmare ground seemed to be having earlier with the A400 and A380 and loads of other traffic some of which missing their parking spot i bet they are glad to get rid and free up all that space, I was half expecting the ground controller to announce fk it i'm off home, especially when in the middle of it all someone was holding their transmitter open. The lady in the tower does have a nice voice mind, bet in real life she looks nothing like i'm expecting though hehe

yes Same with the A-350, both recovered back to return Monday as far as I know.

In answer to your earlier question about access past costco... I can tell you that they are already stopping both pedestrians and cars and there appears to be IQ security patrolling in a pickup. Anyone loitering is being moved on, so next week will only be more strict. (last year we actually had police patrolling within the area during the show week/weekend).

Near the bridge over the canal. I cycle that way a lot.

I am going to try and get down for the public days. Want to see the Meteor & Vampire pair.

Seen them at their Newquay base but would like to see the display smile

harriers arrived just after 630.
Got a few shots, but too awful to post up.

Problem was, they landed from the opposite end, and taxied off the runway 2/3 of the way down.
Still. Vulcan tomorrow

woohoo
Welcome to the XH558 flight day info line. We will comment in this post on developments as the aircraft flies from RAF Waddington to Farnborough. There, the crew will do validation displays to show the event director the 2014 Vulcan routine. This then allows approvals for completing displays at the Farnborough International Airshow.
