The canal from Fleet - does it have a towpath one can walk along all the way to the rwy threshold?

Yes.

Or you can cycle.

Got trade passes but I'm too busy at work and can't get away to go on a trade day rage

If your local to the area I'd be happy to do an exchange of a few beers for the pass, would quite like to go and see if I can do a little bit of networking before leaving my present job in 2.5months time.

I'm going to use them as they're valid for the weekend, I would have just liked to go tomorrow or Thursday!

Now the BBMF have cancelled FFs.
Now just a flu past on Sunday.

In recent years, I have found talking to exhibitors was the most interesting aspect of the show.

flying display is far from comprehensive frown

The airliners are the stars IMO. 787 show on Monday was epic. The go-around turn was mind blowing, apparently they wont be doing again as the wing-tip was mere feet off the ground.

I really enjoyed the trade stands when I went about 8-10 years ago, but I understand they aren't open on the public days now which is a shame.

I'm looking forward to it despite the slightly underwhelming lineup - it'll be worth it to see a Harrier in action which is a rare event these days. Just hoping the weather forecast improves.

You know you can buy a ticket to "Fabulous Friday" which has pretty much the full public air display... but also has the added bonus of fully open trade halls.

It's also only £31.50 a ticket (instead of £45 for Saturday or Sunday) for what is easily a 'bigger and more complete' show.

I actually won two tickets at work for Saturday or Sunday entry, but sold them to someone for the cost of a Friday ticket, which is already in my hand smile Yeah the buyer got a bargin but still feel I won (only paid £3 for a raffle ticket in the first place biggrin )

Excited a little, haven't been inside the show in years.

Maybe being cautious about the planned weather. Better to cancel now than to disappoint on the day?

A380 was the highlight for me, just like 2012.

I'd have to agree. Standing 10 feet away from those engines starting was just amazing. Got it all on video, not sure how to host it though? YouTube easy?

It's a diddle. Sign in, upload, share.
Simples.
