Is it just me getting a sense of déjà vu from the posts in this thread?

I'd love something like this for my man cave, not sure the wife would be too impressed though..

That's what I was saying about deja vu - I think the OP has some strange reposting issues, but rather than posting the same post a few times one after the other which seems to happen quite often, identical posts have appeared later on in the thread!

Maybe he suffers from short term memory loss - and doesn't like re-reading threads.

Hi I do this from my Samsung galaxy phone and yes it does keep repeating posts or placing them again later. No idea why.

I am more pleased than you can imagine with everybody's help.
:-) :-) :-) :-)

My MIG piece is cool.

Inevitably, I've just spent half an hour pricing up various kits and detailing items from Hannants...

Eduard have various parts for the 1:32, including: http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ED32082

Unfortunately they seem to have got the various bits in the wrong order there, with the lamp being at the bottom rather than in the middle. I guess they moved around depending on whatever evolution of the machine they made.

TBH they probably got the kit wrong - it's not unusual in the model world.

At 1:32 it would be more realistic to make the equivalent of those photo-etch bits from micro brass tube. In reality none of the parts shown are totally flat. You can coat them with PVA to give them some form, but sometimes it's better (and cheaper!) to scratchbuild details such as those.

some identifiers above....

export versions had different IFF systems.

Can't ascertain if that was outside WARPAC or not.
