Hunter T7 from North Weald, it went over just west of Basildon at about 4:40, and came back, more over towards Romford at about ten past 5. Could see it in the distance from Langdon Hills.

Something that I thought might have been a Hellcat flew north
very very low over my house (Aylesbury area) just before
13.00, it was so low, I didn't get time to identify it positively.

Regards the hellcat . the airshow commentary did mention a fuel leak ? . i also over heard someone on a scanner say it was a fuel leak too and after the 'flying inspection' some liquid was seen to be coming from the plane, but felt it was safe for the plane to return to duxford (which was around 5pm).

Did it get down OK?

It's obviously a leaky old thing anyway . When I was watching it perform during its display yesterday I noticed how stained the underside was from various leaks.
