Must be a lot of open water around Tamworth, as I think back in the day's of the TV program bullseye, two blokes from there won a speedboat ....always stuck in my mind that, about as far away from the sea as possible and win a speedboat.

According to the information I picked up when researching my Black Cat Catalina she needed at least a mile of open water to take off

No lift aids except a big 'sod off' wing

No flaps or slats



so maybe definitely not Kingsbury Water Park smile

seems to have USAAF markings and had come from the direction of the National Memorial at Alrewas
