Apologies if this is the wrong forum. Also apologies that this is so boring.

I have a 7 day season ticket from Woking to London Terminals and I need to go to Crystal Palace. Obviously CP is not a terminal but there is a train that goes from Clapham Junction to London Bridge stopping at Crystal Palace. As London Bridge is a terminal, does my ticket cover me from Woking to CP or do I need to buy a separate ticket from Clapham to CP?

Its been a while but I am sure I used to use my ticket for anything in between so you would be fine, essentially your ticket covers you from Woking to Central London

Get yourself along to http://www.railforums.co.uk/ and ask there. They are very knowledgable about this kind of thing.

Thanks.

I know the ticket covers me for intermediary stations e.g. Wimbledon, but that is on the same line as Woking-Waterloo, it just seems a bit cheeky changing onto a totally different line going in a different direction just because it's final destination also happens to be a terminal.

To be clear, no-one in their right mind would use that method of getting from Woking to London Bridge as it would be far quicker to go into Waterloo and jump on the Jubilee line.

If its ok at Wimbledon then 99% sure it will be fine at C Junction. No but if that line was down they may find themselves using an alternative route

Best bet would be to ask at the station when you leave but as I say from memory i used to use mine (Sutton to London Terminals) all over London as it was in essence a Zone 1-5 ticket

Thanks, yeah I will ask the guard if I can find him. Queuing up at the station isn't possible as I'm always about 10 seconds away from missing my trains smile
