Yes. I sold the Blue & Yellow Zenair to fund it recently ...... It looked "cheap" as a barn find.

A new engine, prop, instruments, FI servo, exhaust, etc etc later I now know better.

Bit like cars really !

I hear ya! Mine was started in 1998 and spent over a decade in storage before I bought it as a "quick" project. It's taken me 2.5 years to finish it!

Awesome! some really great footage in there.
With regards to the 'formation flying' do you have any formal training in that or did you just go for it? I only ask as I'm trying to get something organised with a pal and we're not sure how to go about it.

No formal training - but lots of planning and practice.

The "5 ship" guys have been having an annual formation flying holiday for the last 10 years.
