Da's 60th Birthday

My Dad turns 60 in February and I really wanted to get him a taxi ride in the Lancaster over in Lincolnshire, however the rides are sold out for 2015. Serves me right for leaving it so long to sort out.

My Dad loves aviation and my brother and I would like to get him an experience for his birthday. Could you recommend me some UK based aviation expertness I could get him for this significant milestone?

So far the best one we have found is a flight in a Tiger Moth.

Finally, will there be weight + height restrictions on these experiences. He is 6ft and approx 17st.

That's going to be a difficult one at that weight, it all depends on where the tiger moth freight is going to be from Duxford the limit is 18st other places 16st so worth finding out from where your looking for a flight from.

Good to know. I will look in to this.

Weight - he may be slightly under this size, I'm giving a worse case scenario situation.

Any other options in a similar vein?

It's probably a bit far from where you are but you can buy Harvard rides at Goodwood.
