Anything from TSR2 end up in the Tornado?
The ejector seats, IIRC.

Definitely not the seats.

The TSR2's seats were specific entirely to the TSR2 and weren't used in anything else.

Just because someone works on a piece of equipment doesn't mean they know a lot about the history of its development.

I would be looking for something a bit more authoritative.
That's pretty arrogant Eric. What you are saying is that someone who worked on the system for many years, was involved with it's supply, indeed it's provenance, knows jack?

I would imagine that you, as a professsional, would get somewhat angered by people that tell you they know Accountancy because they can do 'sums'?

Yet you are so quick to dismiss other professionals.

Hmmm. Can we say Hypocrisy?

I'm not saying that at all. I know many professionals or highly qualified people from all walks of life who know a great deal (as you would expect) about the work they do.

Despite that, they may not be well versed in the history of the profession they are in or the history of the technology they use.

I may be an accountant but that does not mean I am an expert in tax law as it was in (say) 1965.

Here's my tribute to the beautiful old girl - my Lego TSR2. Before anyone starts hammering the Ban button, this model is NOT for sale and never will be. I just thought you guys might be interested.

How come on your Facebook business page, you say that if there's demand, you'll start selling them?

Reported.

Again.

Odd way to generate demand - telling everyone it is NOT for sale! - Which it isn't! - Notice NO link to any other page/models or mention - other than yours!

rolleyes

If YOU hadn't mentioned it no-one would have known about his FB business page but now I know he has one (because of YOU) I'm now going to look for, which makes YOU the advertiser, not him, so I've reported you!

Why would anyone post a picture of something and immediately say it's not for sale? Why would people ever assume it was for sale in the first place?

He has a history of posting stuff like this, denying he has a business, then trying to edit his posts to suit.

Each to his own, but I don't like being bullstted to.

You're very good at editing posts aren't you? But some you miss...

Its not really advertising as like I say - I have nothing for sale! - just treat it as a picture of my little hobby if you like. I like the planes, I build Lego models.
How come you have a website offering your Lego models for sale on your profile?

That post was before I edited the previous one.... - I'd delete the second one but now you've quoted it, there doesn't seem much point!

OK - you've caught me out on a technicality - when I have excess models - I sell em - You win - I'll just delete all my posts on this thread with pics of Lego models and then you don't have to worry about it any more.

Why did I state it's not for sale? For your benefit Dr_GN! A small effort to preempt your attempts to get me banned from this sub-forum as well! I don't know what your problem is with me, I am sticking to the rules of the forum and walking on eggshells trying not to anger you. Please leave me alone and let me post pictures of my Lego models on relevant threads. No adverts. No promotions. Just pictures and discussion. Edit: ..and no bu*****st!

Wow! Nothing better to do? Whatever you do, don't read any newspapers nor 99% of the internet if you don't like to be bullstted.

Other than that, live and let live.
