They do seem to have crashed a lot; are Blenheims particularly tricky to pilot?
Both accidents were basic pilot error, unrelated to the handling attributes of the aircraft.

Wow. My uncle was squadron leader on these in the war, so I 'm very happy to see one flying again.

The magazine is better than the website smile It also has a section where relatives and researchers can write asking for information, so if you send them as much as you have about your uncle you might get some replies.

Thanks again. Here's his grave in Padstow.

Sad ending, as they both outlived their 2 children who died of MS and cancer. I will get in touch to see if there's any info on his service life. His wife Joyce was my dad's sister. He told me a few snippets of his life. He went on to become the CO of RAF Northolt, and then used to get called away for 3 months at a time during the cold war. He was on the other end of the phone to Maggie when needed to press the big red button apparently. That's pretty much all I have.
