Fantastic, I'm on shift Sunday night (ambulance tech). Just what Pompey needs,5000 US Navy sailors trying to keep up with their RN compatriots.
How many drunken yanks will I meet? (Place your bets below - closet wins a vomit bowel full of regurgitated Budweiser)
I look forward to Monday's updates How many drunken yanks will I meet? (Place your bets below - closet wins a vomit bowel full of regurgitated Budweiser)

I remember visiting Portsmouth to see various visiting carriers - blagged our way on board a few times too - just checking back we did quite well.
1978 - USS Nimitz On Board
1981 - USS Eisenhower
1982 - USS America On Board
1984 - USS Independence On Board
1987 - USS Forrestal On Board
Saw some at night when they were all lit up - made a fantastic sight.
