Meh, it's Portsmouth. The women will be waiting with open legs.

Somehow the idea of HMS Gordon Brown visiting New York doesn't seem so exciting...

They normally sit off Pompey in the Solent, so can be seen from plenty of places.

Fantastic, I'm on shift Sunday night (ambulance tech). Just what Pompey needs,5000 US Navy sailors trying to keep up with their RN compatriots.
How many drunken yanks will I meet? (Place your bets below - closet wins a vomit bowel full of regurgitated Budweiser)

Have fun Chicken - I was in town on a couple of occasions way back and you'll certainly be busy.

I remember visiting Portsmouth to see various visiting carriers - blagged our way on board a few times too - just checking back we did quite well.

1978 - USS Nimitz On Board
1981 - USS Eisenhower
1982 - USS America On Board
1984 - USS Independence On Board
1987 - USS Forrestal On Board

Saw some at night when they were all lit up - made a fantastic sight.

Security was very tight on that one - can't remember what was going on at the time.
