Reports a 13m tug, the Asterix, has capsized in Southampton Water.

All crew now accounted for.

Crikey! Only a year old!
The fellow who jumped in and smashed a window to get a Guy out deserves a medal bow

bow indeed. That's what I thought as soon as I heard the news this morning.

Sadly someone who risks their own neck jumping into freezing water to save another soul will be long forgotten when the next undeserving bunch are knighted for services to entertainment or whatever. rage

+1

I see it was a very small line handling tug.

I would have thought a ships window would be some seriously tough glass to break, especially underwater.

A big thumbs up to the guy, he deserves some sort of medal or recognition.

Working on a ship, of any size, getting trapped underwater and drowning slowly is a horrible thought.

It's ok - I'm alright, I have a bit of a damp bilge but that's usual every now and again!
