FAO Farnborough Spotters

So that's what I spotted over the fence, on the ramp near the terminal building at about 1630hrs this afternoon.
C-40B VIP transport variant based on the Boeing 737-700, one of four built. Serial number 10041.

I wonder which politician/senior military commander it brought over?

Was driving past the airfield last night on the way back from Fleet and saw its fin poking over the earthworks near the terminal.
For those interested, the full serial is actually 01-0041. The "01" at the start represents the Fiscal Year in which Congress approved its purchase i.e. 2001.

Blackbushes turn tomorrow.
Aerobility have a charity event on.
There is music, and an air display between 1800 and 1930 featuring a Yak, an Auster and a glider.
Additionally, during the day, there is a spitfire display, featuring 2 bbmf spits, I believe they arrive at 1.30 and display, either then, or later. The Spitfire times are NOT confirmed, and info is hearsay from a Farnborough spotter, I might be true, in fact probably will be, but then again.

The Spitfire flypast was fantastic!
There was also another display in the evening of a Yak-52, an Auster and a glider.
