Just wondering if anyone can help as struggling to find this in Ryanair sea of t&cs and couldn't get a straight answer from the online chat earlier.

Booked to fly out to spa on Friday and have picked the business plus option to get extra backache allowance which goes down as checked bag rather than cabin bag.

Ryanair list 1 large cabin bag 55x40x20 and one small bag 35x20x20 both up to 10kg
http://www.ryanair.com/en/terms-and-conditions/reg...

But nothing in relation to checked baggage in relation to size apart from

For health and safety reasons Ryanair does not accept for carriage any individual item exceeding 32 kilos or with combined dimensions of more than 81cms (height), 119cms (width) and 119cms (depth). This weight limit does not apply to mobility equipment.

And I'm also guessing checked baggage goes in the hold.

I have my camera bag which is 45x27x20 which with my camera gear which comes up to 8kg which I was under the impression would be classed as my cabin bag and a suitcase which is 60x45x20 weighing 18kg which would be my checked baggage.

Am I right or am I going to get hammered with fees?

Your camera bag is your hand luggage and your suitcase is your hold luggage. Simples.

im flying RA on Sunday, Salzburg to London.

we are taking 35kgs free, combination of 1 x 15kg and 1 x 20 KG, but there are three of us in the group, and so we could have had an extra 15kgs free.

Hand lugguage is 10kgs per person.

That is the idea but I can't find the limitations on the hold luggage laugh

20kg hold... Granted, I can't see anything about dimensions, but the case you're proposing to take is hardly 'oversize'!

Must've replaced heavy stuff with light stuff!

Planning a recent trip to Canada I got rather paranoid about bag sizes; in reality even though I went through five different airports they were never checked. Saw a chap utterly failing to get his bag in the checker; later saw him fit it in an overhead locker. So it seems a bit silly IMHO.

Didn't replace anything laugh I bought 2 1/18 models and 2 1/43s and some chocolates......

Maybe I should check they haven't eat them.

I did find that strange too, they only time my bag was ever checked was my hold luggage, my cabin package was weighed or measured once which I thought was surprising considering what you read online.
