Eric was replying to somebody calling himself The QFI, or similar. His posts seem to have been excised.

Or can't get back in!

All very prophetic/ironic which ever way you look at it though...

I read that as well and I imagine it is for his own protection, from the media as much as anything I guess.

Would not like to be the person who tells him what happened.
As someone medical, I'm guessing it's for specialist treatment, maybe a burns unit?

Well, I went to Wings and Wheels this weekend - saw the whole show on Saturday from near the rope, stuck it out despite torrential rain. Also saw a bit from the village green this afternoon, including the Breitling wing-walkers (who cried off yesterday), but sadly not the Vulcan, which pulled out because of bad weather across the Midlands. A minute's silence began a superb show - the Dunsfold team doing a superb job in pretty much every respect. Life, and the show, must go on...

I was looking forward to the break and being looked after by pretty nurses.

Just read on Facebook that Andy Hill's out of the induced coma and has been moved. Fingers crossed.

I read that it was to a more specialist unit. I'm guessing he initially arrived at A&E or something. Location not disclosed, probably for his & family's own protection I suppose frown

Worth noting (as I discovered last night) there is no westbound access to the A27 from the Shoreham flyover. You have to go east and spin round at the Holmbush roundabout and seeing the queues I decided to drop along past the hospital, back up to the flyover and then head up to Washington and back down the A24. Not convinced it took any longer and I'd rather go the longer way round but keep rolling.

Just read on the BBC site that another person (and the last they say) has been named

Also this piece made me shudder a bit. 'First causes of death were given as burns and smoke inhalation, fragmentation of body due to blunt-force trauma and head injury'

Fragmentation of the body due to blunt force trauma, just sounds so brutal frown
