Going to be back in the UK (based in London) for a few days in November and want to know where to visit while we're there. Probably only have time to do one musuem, and if it had a Concorde that would be good because my wife loves that plane.

Not bothered about seeing US stuff as we live in DC so have been to both Air and Space more times than I can count, as well as places like the USAF museum in Dayton.

Would Cosford be more interesting than Duxford? V-bombers are a plus too.

I've always preferred Duxford to Yeovilton. There's something about wandering between the hangars along the runway that makes it feel special. That and the amazing collection...

One museum, with a Concorde - Brooklands would be my choice.

Both Duxford and Brooklands have Concordes. Depends what else you want to see in a museum, and where you are based.

Cosford has all 3 types of V bomber

Duxford has the Vulcan in hanger1 and a sad looking Victor outside(its due for restoration next)
The American part is shut until the spring

The RAF museum at Hendon is free to enter, but you pay to park.

Sorry, should have added that we did Brooklands a couple of years ago. I think Cosford might be the winner. Thanks all!

The historic airforce is no more. Some of the aircraft are being auction d next week at the Goodwood revival.
