Any PHers do this, or seen them racing?

Just had a leaflet through the door about them being at Steamer Point (Christchurch) this weekend and they look like fun!

I've a friend that does a bit of racing. Silly things, I've never been on a boat like it. Very physical to drive and crew, especially in any real weather. Can turn on a sixpence. Great fun though. Watch a few YouTube vids to get an idea of how silly they are! If you get a chance to go on one do, as long as you don't have any back or knee problems!

2 of our lot from Guernsey are there racing this weekend. The Christchurch race is unusual in the fact that there are some long legs rather than the mad sprints more normal.

Good, cheap racing for a couple of mates.

Well they were fun to watch... sea was calm for their long-distance race earlier and they were certainly motoring. Nautical equivalent of kart racing I suppose; and something else to add to the list of things to do when I finally manage to retire!

I've been on a zapcat 5 years ago, I have not been in or on anything that feels so quick.
