What aircraft types would you like to see flying, are around to be seen, but you have somehow missed?

JU52 for me. I've seen them parked but never flying.

I was in Florida once years ago when there was a shuttle launch, something you never forget!

That would have been Enterprise when she came over to Europe to take part in that year's Paris Air Show.

Lufthansa's historical flight owns one that's still (sort of) in revenue service. You can book a seat here:

There are a few Ju52s and licence built Spanish derivatives still flying. I've seen a few of them over the years at various air shows.

It is the only time a Shuttle was seen in Europe. Enterprise, of course, never flew into space but was used for the glide test flights in 1977.

I remember seeing the Lufthansa Ju52 ()D-AQUI) at one of the Goodwood Festival of Speed a few years ago. It looked really nice circling over Goodwood House.

Haven't seen the Vulcan which is very annoying as it flew over my house this year.
I was inside and heard an almighty roar. Of course every other bugger within 2 miles saw it.

Dr Jekyll - I did a pleasure flight on one of the Swiss Ju-52's back in the 80's - just checked and they still do them See Here.

As for one I would like to see that's got to be the XB-70.

I never saw Concorde fly. I don't know why I didn't do something about that when I had the chance!

F-14 Tomcat. As a child I went to an air show at Edwards AFB and they were supposed to have one on display, however it wasn't there due to active duty requirements apparently.

It would have been more fun to fly it straight into Paris from orbit.

Could've made the Specsavers advert at the same time hehe

Where to start? There are so many... MiGs 23 and 25, Tempest V, Beaufighter... Belfast, Constellation, Liberator, Black Widow.

I'm not giving up though. When I was a kid I thought I'd missed all the great classes of steam locomotive. Inthe last eight years I've seen most of them race past my house.

Well that Lufthansa site referenced earlier seems to suggest that you will get the constellation sooner rather than later.

One was flying in the UK last year. It was at Farnborough airshow and RIAT and is owned by Breitling.
