Parked on a driveway near me !







Doing some research I found this picture of her in better condition at (I presume RAF A&AEE)

Can they be rebuilt to fly from that condition? ie have the wings been correctly removed, or is the spar cut?

I just watched it - enjoyable but I found the presenter slightly annoying, especially his pronunciation of Provost...

Watched this programme as well and was surprised it was tested on Loch Ness. Living in Inverness this was the first I knew of this. Find it strange that there was no local media coverage to this, given the history and the reference to John Cobb.
The way he pronounced Provost as Prov ost was odd.

Spotted at a show yesterday, note the reg., I guess this is where the engine ended up...? someone mentioned it came out of a JP.

WHy does the boat have a Union flag, the jets reg and a blooming French roundel? Poor show if you ask me. wink

Thanks for the tip off. Just watched the programme. Loved the stuff at Bentwaters. Still not sure why a now engineless JP has been moved from a garden centre in Shropshire garden centre to a farm in Thame, Oxon !
