ANYWAY...the main reason for my post was, why isn' the vulcan programme on catchup or, does anyone know when it will appear?

Many thanks.
As far as I know its first airing is this coming Sunday, the 29th of November at 7:30pm? I don't really watch TV though, so I'm welcome to be corrected on that - I've just got it written in my diary to watch TV then biggrin
Smack me round the head someone- looks like I was premature - don't go there !!!!!
I'm excited about the programme, but not that excited! biggrin

rotate Looking forward to the programme.
Quite. Looks like people need to start a new thread whistle
I tried but they're a nightmare. Go to the lounge guys and carry on your pissing match about who knows most about mental disorders. This one's about cold war bombers!

What p%^&$%%g match? You mean the huge interest that was shown ref something Guy is said to have and how it can affect people? What a great way to inform another person who may not have heard of these types of conditions. Totally harmless.

If anything, it helped me understand his love oF and abilities with all mechanical things even better. Especially in direct reference to the Vulcan bomber which so many people have also dearly loved these last few years. Very relevant.

In the meantime, I had a chat to a Vulcan senior ground crew chap the other day who blew me away with the level of work they put into the airframe. Other than seeing one at RAF Hendon, am looking forward to seeing the internals in HD on Sunday close up!

It's not a mental disorder smash
It's just a different way of thinking

einstein
barens wallis
frank whittle
turin
tommy flowers
roy chadwick

Gentlemen, no need for sitting on hands or banging heads with hammers. I fully understand the concerns for people with various conditions, my son has been sectioned, twice, with mental disorders and I have an aunt with cerebral palsy. Start a new thread about it and it will be very interesting.

I'm looking forward to the Vulcan programme on Sunday. smile

"barens wallis"?

"turin"?

There must be a dialect sick gag there but I can't think of one.

I was lured into looking at this topic expecting some Vulcan based knowledge, but it's four pages of the relative merits/ drawbacks of Aspergers Syndrome. WTF!!! confused

Please give me strength. Boats, Planes & Trains? Where are they????

FWIW, I happen to be a fan of Guy Martin, he is enthusiastic, determined and can keep focused, unlike the majority of contributors to this ruined thread.

Finally, what has an Italian city got to do with this topic????

I did start ithis thread with the intention of drawing people's attention to the programme and discussing it. I should've known better hoping it would just stay that way.

Set this to record, looks like a decent bit of viewing for a Sunday night.
We saw the Vulcan at Riat this year, and the display was spectacular to say the least, the flypast with the Reds was very special.

To be fair, the program hasn't even been aired yet, so how much can actually be discussed? It's not like there is a shortage of Vulcan-related content on here.

Besides, this is BP&T. Once it's been aired, the thread will fill with dullards whinging about the lack of content, or the fact they pronounced 'pitot' with a 't' or something.

I'll start - Anyone seen the trailer? "Last Vulcan in existance" it says. Suspect one or more of the boys at Southend might need a new TV after they threw their remote at it!

They got guy to manually wind the heavy doors open. They've just showed a clip of a little yellow vehicle pushing the doors open.

Must be the equivalent of asking for a left handed hammer. biggrin

Talking of babies
The only time I saw a reference to aspergers in the whole programme was when he was checking the turbine planes and said nothing had been sucked in there no birds or babies. If youre well into aspergers youd cringe thinking that was for real.

Great prog thumbup
