We've just had it turn over the woods at the back of our house (clophill) and head back towards Bedford. Big bugger!

Turkish Airforce A400 over head this morning. Nice and loud, thought it might be a AN-12 or some other Russian prop transport at first. Much louder than the Hercules that often go over at similar altitude. Typically after a few days of clear skies the day something interesting goes OTT it's overcast.

Just sat at my desk in Ashby de la Zouch, and something louder than normal passed overhead. Turns out to be this climbing out of East Mids, an 'Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD' apparently.
