I bought my first TVR on Friday - a Mk1 Tuscan 4.0

Everything seems to work on it apart from the Hazard Warning lights (all indicators are fine). Short of my just blundering in and making it up as I go, I figure this must have happened to somebody else too... any tips on where to start?

Cheers,

Rich

Check the ribbon cable that goes from the switch board to the main boards

mine failed its mot this year due to hazards not working

the solution was to teach the mechanic where the switch was...............

Not sure if yours is the same but my hazards only worked with the ignition switched on

Hah - must admit, I haven't tried this. Thanks - I'll give it a go!

The IC board directly behind the switch is prone to just failing. It'll crack/splinter/disintegrate after a fair amount of time and these cars aren't getting any younger. It was a known problem to my TVR based garage and I watched mine being replaced in about 10 minutes from start to finish just recently. From the cockpit you wouldn't know anything was wrong as the switch appears to still be operating as normal except that the hazards don't come on.
