Having worked RIAT for unite a few years I can guarantee you will get stuck in hours of traffic unless you depart early. 2 yeas ago a friend was stuck in 3 hours of traffic at 9am. He arrived at 12. So I guess that's your answer arrive at 9
They might as well just turn up 2 hours earlier in that case and enjoy the whole thing chasingracecars said:
Excellent thanks! So lunchtime Friday would be perfect! If someone can confirm on Friday morning once they have a program in hand I would be immensely grateful.
We will be miles away on Saturday and Sunday so must be Friday.
I'll be going in on Friday morning - I'll see if I can get enough mobile signal to post a pic of the flying times We will be miles away on Saturday and Sunday so must be Friday.
So, what's likely to be the best parts of the display on Sunday?
I'm hoping for something to beat my previous most spectacular flypast, (a Lancaster flanked in V formation by Hurricanes, Spitfires, Phantoms and Tornadoes) but I don't really know which of the display teams to look out for?

The US heritage flight. P51, F22, F35.. I'm hoping for something to beat my previous most spectacular flypast, (a Lancaster flanked in V formation by Hurricanes, Spitfires, Phantoms and Tornadoes) but I don't really know which of the display teams to look out for?
F35 getting 'refuelled' by a KC130.
Red arrows F35 fly past.
F22 solo display is going to be my favourite.

Whether it's air tattoo related or not, I don't know but there's been an Airbus A400 flying around Tewkesbury with a small plane alongside presumably filming or photographing. If they come past again I'll try and grab a photo.
I believe that there is a German A400 due in this morning. Could be that I guess.NJK44 said:
