Sadly had to sell due to dad's illness (and subsequent passing), but have some wonderful memories of sailing our little Broads beauty, Fair Lady 2.

Not the best photo, just one I found online.

Gotta love a proper broads cruiser

Shown on the last thread and even has its own thread (Cornish Puffin) that I haven't updated for ages. Fair to say we are continuing to have tons of use out of her. I keep looking at larger boats and even have upgraded the mooring to take something around 8m .....but when push comes to shove, the pure simplicity, ease of use and cost of operating it and how much the kids are attached, probably means that we will have her for a few more years.

The dinghy is on an out haul 5 minutes walk from our house, a short row out to the mooring and 30 min later we are on this beach. I have about half the material possessions (apparent wealth I suppose) of my school friends that left Cornwall for work and careers, but this is the trade off i prefer smile

14ft Fletcher Arrowflyte GTO.

Bought it as apparently with the 60hp Yamaha outboard it feels bloody fast (yet to fix the gearbox)

And it fits in my garage......just smile

Love a Scorpion. I have sail number 1280 from around 1974, early GRP hull with wooden decks - will be selling soon though sadly.

It's not my boat, but we are out today for a 2 hour "champagne cruise" around the cruise liners in Southampton water on a Phantom 48. I have only crewed rag and stick and owned sportscruisers previously (expensive enough for me thank you), so a flybridge will be a new experience.

Thanks Groupon and Seadogz, £49 including a couple of glasses of champers per person, it's rude not to and it will make SWMBO feel a bit special smile

A group of us did the rib experience trip with them a couple of years ago, again stupidly cheap via Groupon and if this is as good it should be excellent value.

Is it just me or are a lot of the photos in this thread muddled up?
