Sat in an airport today watching a cancelled flight to brum and curious as to what happens.

Obviously the eu compensation exists, but getting to the destination seems important

Presumably the airline cannot stick a whole plane load of passengers onto the next flight? Would they fly them as near as they can and bus them?

Or is it just tough?

Usually whacked on the next available flight when there's a seat for you. I've had an extra night in L.A before paid for by BA. Loved it.

We had a flight to brum cancelled, they did however manage to get a plane from Sweden to fly down to Spain and chucked us on that. Was about a 7 hour wait in the airport. They gave us some vouchers for food and drinks.
