Hopefully that will link to BA11 from LHR to SIN (departed last night, landing very shortly)

Does anyone know why it shows a 90 degree left turn once it entered Pakistan airspace and then a gradual turn to the right to get back on route? Is that the real flight path to avoid a sudden huge thunderstorm? Or a relic of how FR24 tracking works? Either way it looks very odd.

All that jazz

thanks Jazz... I expect that explains it. I was just surprised at the 'last minute' sudden turn (full 90 degrees). Still would have saved a few glasses of bubbly and G&T being disturbed by the turbulence!
