Your best warbird seen flying?

3 stand out for me.
Driving along near Davis-Monthen (sp?) in Arizona a few years ago when a pair of A-10s came trundling (hurtling is probably the wrong word ) along the highway we were on and overtook us.
Also a few years ago, I was working outside in the garage when everything suddenly started vibrating and a loud thumping noise filled the air. I ran out just in time to see 3 Chinooks in a "vic" come over at about 1000ft at full chat. That was quite an impressive sight and sound!
The best one though was when some friends and I went to mount Snowdon. We'd just got out of the car at the visitors centre when a Hawk came tearing through the valley. It was low, I mean really low - about 300ft if that - and giving it some. He was so low that he flicked into one wing to avoid a rock outcrop then immediately onto the other wing to avoid the visitor centre (which stands on a slightly mound). We surmised at the time that the pilot was either the CO of the the training squadron, or would soon be receiving a dressing down from them.

Was at a birthday party for my nephew at a park near Peterborough a couple of years ago. Out of the clear blue sky came an almighty roar. 2, yes 2! Lancaster's in formation, and at low level (1000-1500ft)!!! Couldn't get to my camera quickly enough, but the spectacle is etched in my brain, I will never forget it.
It was followed here, quite a few photos on the last few pages, was an amazing sight & sound!http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Working at Carlsberg Brewery in Northampton in the late 70's I was out in the yard one morning when a lone Canbera came hooning down the Nene valley from the east, it circled the brewery and disappeared. That afternoon a couple of Vulcans came from the east at low level & appeared to target us, circled and headed off.
A couple of years ago, whilst walking the dog, an Apachee seemed to apeare from behind a hedge, cross the field we were in at walking pace, it's gun traversing from side to side. It climbed up over the railway embankment then carried on over the fields and away.
I have also had a Chinook stop and hover over our house for a few seconds before turning away and flying off.
