New Supersonic airliner

I think the answer is a big "if", business class only airlines haven't worked one of the reason for this is that the whole 3 class structure lets airlines charge different rates for what is fundamentally the same product.
You can optimise the cost of the business class seat and ultimately if someone decides not to fly business you can put them in economy or premium economy or upgrade them if business isn't selling and sell the premium economy to someone else.
With the SST if someone decides that they don't like your price they just fly some other time with someone else.
There is no reason why you can't have multiple classes on an SST, and even with one class you can vary the fares according to demand. You can optimise the cost of the business class seat and ultimately if someone decides not to fly business you can put them in economy or premium economy or upgrade them if business isn't selling and sell the premium economy to someone else.

This news won't help Boom make their first flight last year: https://www.flightglobal.com/airframers/rolls-royc...
Aerion ceased operations in May 2021.
The XB-1 Baby Boom is powered by GE J85 engines. Wikipedia says:-
“In January 2022, Boom began conducting engine run-ups using the XB-1, in preparation for taxi tests and the first flight later in 2022. In May 2022, ground testing was completed with engine run up done on all three engines. Undercarriage and flight systems were tested and deemed ready. Taxi runs and actual flight runs are due late 2022.
The flight test has been pushed back half a dozen times since 2017. The XB-1 no longer resembles the complete redesign of the Overture.”
The first flight was originally scheduled for 2017........
