Remind me never to fly with PIA

Id rather not leave the ground maintained by a bunch of people who think sacrificing a goat will help after an accident.

I expect it's for their next crash.

Maybe they can provide a service to other airlines - especially those with a poor safety record.

This is the answer, pray the plane into the air with magic. Who needs science, engineering and rigour?!

Hey, it's cheaper than maintenance. And reassuring to the passengers. A win on both counts!

If it's all part of [insert deity of your geographical heritage here]'s plan, then why bother with the seatbelts? What will be, will be.

Hopefully the goat has kept them sweet for a while.

The next flight may crash... but the Goat in the curry for the in-flight meal service is ultra fresh, none of the reprocessed sh*t they serve on safe airlines.

I'll have to add this procedure into our risk management handbook. I'm sure I'll get past the Compliance manager and the CAA when they audit us...

An investigation is under way after reports that a Pakistan International Airlines plane flew from Karachi to Saudi Arabia with people standing in the aisle all the way after staff boarded extra passengers.

People with handwritten boarding cards scrambled for seats as the Boeing 777 taxied for takeoff on 20 January, according to the report in Pakistani newspaper Dawn.

Although the plane was allowed to carry 409 passengers, there were 416 onboard flight PK743 to Medina, the report said.

I saw the same thing on a flight in India many, many years ago, some guys sat in the aisle on suitcases because they had no seats. I was supposed to be on a 'direct' flight from Bangkok to London, but the travel agent in Phuket left out a few minor details such as two stops in India, one in Moscow, a couple of plane changes.....long before internet booking and suchforth.

I don't think I was on BA or any other well known airline.
